An avid reader, as well as a writer, Kristina makes her home with her husband Eric and seven children on the shores of Lake Superior.   She is currently represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency.

When not busy with homeschooling, Kristina enjoys sailing, swimming, hiking, and spending lots of time at the library.

Before staying home with the kids, Kristina worked as a nurse, both in a hospital setting and as a hospice case manager. She gained tremendous insight into people, sharing in their crisis moments and seeing how families endure loss together. She uses the knowledge and insight into people she gained as a nurse in her writing.

Her quiet time (a hot commodity with seven young children!) comes when she goes for long runs. She uses that time to let her mind wander and finds that she has ended up working out characters and plots. Daily rest time (when the kids nap or read books) is when she then puts those characters and plots to paper. Or takes a nap herself. Sometimes the lure of an afternoon nap is just too good to pass up

Her prayer is that her writing helps readers connect with God more deeply, or for the first time.
